We are currently seeking a Permanent 2nd Engineer/Assistant Engineer to join a 50m+ Private Explorer Motor Yacht.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Engineer / Assistant Engineer for a prestigious private support vessel. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a family-owned vessel known for its busy Caribbean season, with deployments in the Bahamas and Mediterranean, followed by an exciting world cruise. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the vessel's operational readiness, assisting with engine management, and supporting the Chief Engineer on a vessel that is built for live-aboard guests and designed for a vibrant crew community. The role requires an individual who is proactive, team-oriented and eager to hit the ground running. This vessel supports a 100m+ Mother Ship and will carry a lot of the toys and equipment.

Candidate requirements:
- AEC 1 & 2 or Higher
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer or Assistant Engineer
- Experience with MTU engines is highly desirable
- Fluent in English is a must
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment, particularly during Caribbean and Med seasons
- Proactive attitude with problem-solving skills and technical capability
Package:
- Salary: $6,500 pcm
- Leave: 60 days leave per year
- Itinerary: Mediterranean, Caribbean, World Cruise
