We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 30m Newly Launched Dual Season Private Yacht
We are currently seeking a experienced and professional Full-Time Captain for a 30m Motor Yacht operating on a Private dual season basis, primarily in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the yacht, ensuring safety, maintenance and smooth running of all systems. The role requires a proactive and adaptable individual capable of managing an easy-going owner and a friendly, family-oriented environment, including a nanny for the owners daughter. The captain should be fluent in Spanish to meet the owner's language preference. The yacht is flagged in Jamaica, with plans to operate in the Western Mediterranean during the summer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a relaxed yet professional setting, with an open-minded owner who values a friendly and low-maintenance crew.
Start Date: 15th of June 2026
Candidate requirements:
- Master 500GT
- Valid STCW and ENG1 and all relevant documents
- Proven experience as a Captain on yachts
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Comfortable working with an easy-going, family-oriented owner.
- Experience managing crew and daily yacht operations.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising areas.
- Strong leadership and organisation skills.
- Attention to detail in safety, maintenance, and presentation.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to seasonal changes and itineraries.
- Previous experience in dual season or overseas operations is advantageous.
Package:
- Salary: €7,000 - 8,000pcm
- Leave: 60 days paid per year
- Itinerary: Mediterranean & Caribbean
