We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a Newly Launched 80ft Single Season Private Yacht.
The successful candidate will be based in Europe, with the vessel located at Club de Mar in Mallorca. The vessel, launched in 2026, is a modern yacht 80ft in length, primarily operating in the Balearics, Spain, France and Italy. The role entails managing the yacht's day-to-day operations, ensuring safe and efficient navigation, and providing exceptional service to both private and charter guests. The Captain will be expected to oversee a team of 4 crew members during the season, maintain vessel safety, and contribute to smooth charter operations. A hands-on approach is essential, with good engineering knowledge to carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting in the engine room. The vessel may undertake a few charters as early as September 2026, with potential for continued charters throughout 2027.

Candidate requirements:
- Master 200GT or higher
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Fluent in English and any other language is a plus
- Proven experience as a Captain on similar-sized motor yachts
- Strong leadership and management skills to oversee a crew of 4
- Excellent navigation and seamanship skills with a focus on safety
- Good engineering knowledge, able to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot engine issues
- Previous experience in charter operations and client services
- Flexibility to undertake charters in the Balearics, Spain, France and Italy
- Personable attitude with the ability to cater to high-end clients
Package:
- Salary: €6,000 - 7,500pcm - DOE
- Leave: 60 days paid per year
