We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 35m+ New build Private (2026) / Charter Dual Season (2027) Motor Yacht.
We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive Permanent Captain for a new build 35m+ Motor Yacht, expected to launch in August 2026. The vessel, will be based in Europe during the 2026 Mediterranean season and then operate on a dual season basis after that, chartering throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The successful candidate will oversee the vessel's navigation, safety and compliance, managing a crew of five. Initially employed full-time for the first year, the role will transition to a rotational basis thereafter. The Captain will be responsible for managing the vessel’s commercial registration, including coordinating the flag change from Cayman Islands to Malta and ensuring smooth operation during the dual season.
Candidates must be hands-on, able to work efficiently on deck, and demonstrate exceptional technical and ISM knowledge. Experience in new build projects and warranty processes would be advantageous. The role requires someone calm, collected, and confident in managing all paperwork, compliance, and communication effectively to ensure seamless operations.

Candidate requirements:
- Master 500GT
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Valid Schengen Visa (If required)
- B1/B2 visa will be required for the 2026 - 2027 Caribbean season
- Proven experience as a Yacht Captain
- Experience overseeing new build projects and warranty processes (preferred)
- Strong ISM knowledge and technical expertise
- Hands-on approach with deck work capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, clear and concise in all paperwork and reporting
- Ability to manage vessel registration, flag changes, and compliance requirements
- An understanding of Mediterranean and Caribbean sailing conditions
- Calm, professional and capable of working under pressure
Package:
- Salary: €9,000 - 10,000pcm
