We are currently seeking a Deckhand to join a 55m+ Single Season Private/Charter Sailing Yacht.
The position is located in Europe and involves hands-on participation in the daily operations aboard a magnificent 56m - 60m sailing yacht. The Deckhand will be responsible for maintaining the yacht's appearance, assisting with the safe and efficient operation of all deck duties, and ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable experience on board. A passion for sailing is essential, as the role may also involve instructing guests in sailing and water activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, providing a high level of customer service to ensure the utmost satisfaction of guests.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deckhand on sailing yachts
- At least 1 season experience in the yachting industry
- Strong understanding of deck operations and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Powerboat lvl2
Package:
- Salary: €2,750 pcm
