We are currently seeking a Permanent Deckhand to join a 60m Private Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yacht, ensuring that all deck duties are performed with utmost professionalism and attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior areas of the yacht, assisting with mooring, and providing support to the senior crew members to deliver an exceptional experience to guests. The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for the maritime industry.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Deckhand on motor yachts is essential.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards within the yachting industry.
- Ability to maintain and care for all deck equipment and facilities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with mooring procedures and anchoring techniques.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying conditions.
- STCW and ENG1.
- Powerboat lvl 2.
- Yacht Master Offshore would be a bonus.
Package:
- Salary: €3,000 - (Increase after probation period)
