We are currently seeking a Permanent Deckhand/Watersports Instructor to join a 50m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
This role is based in Europe and offers an exciting opportunity to work aboard a prestigious vessel within the yachting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the deck team, maintaining the vessel's exterior, and assisting with onboard operations to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation are met at all times. The Deckhand will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to guests and ensuring the smooth running of daily yacht activities, contributing to a safe and enjoyable onboard environment. A strong water sport background is essential and the ability to drive a 13m chaseboat safely with guest. The vessel is a single season vessel that is extremely busy during the Med season.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Deckhand within the yachting industry, preferably on motor yachts of similar size (35m - 50m)
- Knowledge of deck maintenance, safety procedures, and operational tasks
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong watersports background and tender driving
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing various responsibilities onboard
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment
- Valid STCW & ENG1
- Yacht Master Offshore - Commercially endorsed
