We are currently looking for a Sole Engineer and Stew/Cook to join a 30m+ Private Motor Yacht.
We are seeking a hands-on Sole Engineer and Stew to join a yacht currently undergoing an extended yard period, with the opportunity to transition into operations once completed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of all engine room equipment, carrying out general maintenance and supporting the overall running of the engine room, they will also be over seeing all the contractors and work being done on the vessel. They should be comfortable troubleshooting issues, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring all systems are maintained to a high standard.
Please note: The vessel is currently in an extended yard period and may not be operational during the Mediterranean season. The vessel is based in a remote location in Turkey and will be operating with an Engineer and Stewardess living ashore and commuting to the vessel everyday. The vessel does have support from a Yacht Manager and Technical Support to ensure that the work is being completed. The work on the vessel will be completed in April/May 2027 and then will go up for sale.

Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Deck Engineer or Sole Engineer on similar-sized motor yachts
- Knowledge of yacht maintenance, deck procedures, safe working practices, water toys
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for deck and mechanical systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team
- Flexible attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- AEC 1&2
