We are seeking a Rotational Chief Engineer to join a 45m Dual season Charter Motor Yacht.
We are seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer for a permanent position operating on a 2:2 rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical management and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring safety, reliability and optimal performance at all times. This role requires a strong leader with solid technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Working closely with the crew and management team, the Chief Engineer will be expected to maintain the highest standards of vessel performance, safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is willing to assist across all areas of the vessel when needed, while also remaining mindful of costs and able to work effectively within the vessel’s budget. We are looking for a practical, capable engineer who can hit the ground running, manage technical paperwork efficiently and oversee all onboard systems with confidence. Experience maintaining PMS systems is essential.

Candidate requirements:
- Relevant experience as Chief Engineer on similar motor yachts
- Coc - Y3
- Valid STCW and a ENG1 medical certificate
- Valid B1/B2
- Proven ability to oversee vessel maintenance and manage shipyard periods
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work in varied operational environments and handle emergency situations
- Work well with a smaller team and hands on with all departments
