We are currently seeking a Rotational Crew Chef to join a 50m+ Explorer Dual Season Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
This role involves providing top-quality cuisine and culinary support for the crew, with opportunities to develop skills and progress within a dynamic yachting environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for crew members, supporting the Head Chef on the mother ship (60m) with canapé service and food preparation for the owners and charter guests and contributing positively to the yacht's vibrant atmosphere. The role particularly suits someone looking to enhance their culinary skills in a yacht setting, with a focus on crew catering rather than heading a kitchen. This is a dual season vessel that navigated in the Polar and tropical reigns.
Start Date: End March beginning of April
Candidate requirements:
- Experience as a Crew Chef on yachts or in similar settings
- Availability to start as soon as possible
- Valid Ships cook certificate is essential
- Valid B1/B2 visa and Schengen clearance
- STCW and ENG1
- Prepared for working from yard to June and then in tropical regions like Mexico during summer
- Ability to work in a positive, 'good vibes' environment and be a team player
- Healthy and nutritious meals for a crew of 11
Package:
- Salary: €4,000 - 5,000pcm
