We are currently seeking a Seasonal Chief Officer to join a 55m Private/Charter Motor Yacht that is based in the Mediterranean.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Officer to join a 55m Private/Charter Motor Yacht for the 2026 summer season. The successful candidate will join the vessel on 7 June and remain onboard through the end of August, supporting an active charter program across the Mediterranean. The yacht is currently located in Spain and is scheduled to depart for Bizerte, Tunisia before continuing to Corfu, Greece. Working closely with the Captain, the Chief Officer will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Responsibilities will include overseeing deck operations, supporting charter logistics, coordinating maintenance programm and ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met throughout the season.
This is a fully commercial yacht of over 1,000GT, requiring a professional, hands-on officer with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to daily operations. Excellent tender driving skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit and experienced crew.
Start Date: 7th June 2026
End Date: 31st August 2026
Candidate requirements:
- OOW 300GTand all supporting certificates.
- Valid STCW and ENG1.
- Previous experience as Chief Officer on large yachts.
- Experience on commercial vessels over 500GT.
- Strong tender driving and watersports operational skills.
- Solid understanding of yacht safety management and compliance.
- Hands-on, professional, and team-oriented approach.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Availability to join on 7 June 2026.
