We are seeking a Sole Engineer to join a 35m+ Single Season Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join a 35m+ Private Charter Motor Yacht on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical management of the yacht, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to safety standards, and timely basic maintenance tasks during the winter period. The job involves hands-on work and requires a candidate with excellent technical knowledge, particularly in maintenance and operational procedures. The vessel's age requires a patient and methodical approach to troubleshooting and upkeep, with support from a dedicated management company and technical team to ensure seamless operations. The vessel runs with a crew of 7 and the Chief Engineer will have assistance from a Deck Engineer.

Candidate requirements:
- Y3 Chief Engineer licence or higher
- Valid STCW and ENG1 and all supporting documenets
- Previous experience as a Chief Engineer on similar-sized motor yachts
- Experience with older vessels, requiring a patient and methodical approach
- No major engine overhauls necessary
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks during the winter period
- Strong hands-on technical skills and knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive attitude
Package:
- Salary €7,000 pcm
- Leave: 3.42 days paid during a 3 Month Probation Period - 5 Days paid after Probation
