We are currently seeking a Permanent Sole Engineer to join a 60m+ Charter Motor Sailing Yacht.

The successful candidate will oversee the technical operation and maintenance of a 60m+ Motor Sailing Yacht, ensuring safety, efficiency and full compliance with industry standards. This is a hands-on role suited to a Chief Engineer who is practical, proactive and comfortable working in a small engine room environment. The yacht operates with a crew of 10 and runs an active light private and charter program, with two charters already booked this season, one of which is one month long. The vessel has recently completed a two-year refit and is well structured, offering a solid platform for strong technical leadership.

You’ll be expected to take full ownership of the engineering department while also supporting other departments when needed. This role requires a true team player who is willing to get involved across the vessel and contribute to the overall smooth operation onboard. The yacht is a Turkish gulet, commercially registered and will be based in the Balearics for the summer season. It is powered by Caterpillar C32 main engines and Kohler generators and features an extensive electro-hydraulic system supporting the rigging.

This is a full-time position for a dedicated and hands-on Chief Engineer who takes pride in maintaining high standards and keeping the vessel in optimal condition for both private and charter use.
