We are currently looking for an experienced Sole Head Chef to join a 63m+ Private Motor Yacht with a fantastic program, great Mexican owners and a relaxed onboard environment.
The yacht has light usage, with owners typically onboard around 6–8 weeks per year, allowing for a good routine and strong work/life balance. The vessel is currently in the Dominican Republic and will continue through the Caribbean, followed by New England in August, then Costa Rica and Cabo.
The yacht has a multinational crew with a very positive crew dynamic onboard. The Captain is American and the program is known for being well run with great owners.
This is a Sole Chef position, so candidates must be confident managing the galley independently and cooking for both owners and crew simultaneously when guests are onboard. The owners enjoy healthy, fresh food and a variety of cuisines. When owners are not onboard, the role will mainly involve cooking for approximately 18 crew alongside maintaining strong galley organisation, cleanliness and provisioning standards.
The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, organised, adaptable and able to deliver high standards within a professional but relaxed environment.
Requirements:
- Ships Cook Certificate
- B1B2 visa
- Previous experience as a Sole Chef or Head Chef on a similar sized vessel
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Strong provisioning and galley management skills
- Confident across a variety of cuisines
- Strong crew food and guest dining experience
- Positive attitude

Package:
Salary: $9,000–$10,000 DOE
