We are currently seeking a Temporary Chief Engineer to join a 50m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht.
This role is based in Europe and requires a dedicated professional Chief Engineer to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the vessel’s engineering systems. You will oversee all technical aspects of the yacht’s machinery, manage the engineering team, and work closely with the captain and other departments to maintain the vessel to the highest standards.
This is a Temp role starting ASAP until the 10th of November.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar sized motor yachts
- Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering systems and equipment
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of yacht systems
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate the engineering team
- Y3 or Higher
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a dynamic environment
Package:
- Salary: €350 - 400 per day DOE
