We are currently seeking a 2nd Engineer for the winter to assist the Chief Engineer throughout the winter period. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Engineer to ensure operational and maintenance of the machinery and systems. We are looking for a hands on, self motivated 2nd Engineer that has good technical knowledge, troubleshooting technical issues, that doesn't need to be taught and can get on with jobs. You will be joining a dynamic crew that has been with the program for a couple seasons. The vessel will be based in Italy throughout the winter and will have 3 Engineers onboard, Chief Engineer, 2nd Engineer and an ETO.

Start Date: Middle of October 2026

End Date: April 2027

Candidate requirements:

• Valid STCW and ENG1 certification
• Completed AEC1 & 2 or Higher
• Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer or Sole Engineer
• Able to work independently and without supervision 
• Strong technical knowledge and competence in marine systems and equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and itineraries

We are currently seeking a dedicated Permanent Sole Engineer for a private sailing yacht based in Greece. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the yacht's main systems, including engines, generators and hydraulics. This role requires a hands-on engineer with sailing experience who can actively participate in sailing operations and assist on deck when necessary. The candidate should have a strong background in vessel maintenance and capable of working in a dynamic environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit, professional team, supporting the yacht's busy sailing schedule and upcoming operational plans, including dry docks and cruising the Greek Islands in 2027.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, hands-on stewardess looking to join a supportive interior team of three, onboard a well-run yacht with an active program ahead. The role will focus primarily on housekeeping and laundry, with support for service as needed.
